Telstra flags hundreds of job cuts in fresh restructure

Australian communications company Telstra has flagged up to 650 redundancies and the offshoring of hundreds of additional roles to India as part of a fresh restructuring of its enterprise, consumer and AI joint venture operations, extending a multi-year workforce reduction program aimed at cutting costs, simplifying legacy systems and accelerating its automation and data strategy.
