Zega Intelligent Cookware - Voluntary Administration

Zega Intelligent Cookware, which produces a range of ‘smart’, bluetooth-enabled cookware, entered voluntary administration on 18 March.

Administrators Tim Heesh and Mark Everingham of TPH Advisory explained that the business, which had sold close to 7,000 cooking pots and was developing a new range of complementary products, had been unable to secure an investment to meet its working capital needs. This, along with a downturn in sales, led to the appointment.

The administrators are seeking expressions of interest in the business by April 5, 2024.
