Liberty Bell Bay smelter workers get another two weeks pay reprieve

The Australian and Tasmanian governments have offered a further $1.6 million, 50:50 funding package to keep Liberty Bell Bay’s workforce paid for another fortnight while administrators EY continue a sale process for the country’s only manganese smelter, whose voluntary administration has been extended to 29 July.
