MediSecure cyberattack Australia’s biggest on record

A federal investigation into the massive MediSecure data breach — the largest ransomware attack in Australia on record — has been closed, with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) saying in a statement it had shelved the inquiry given the company’s entry into voluntary administration.
